I have been thinking a lot about ways of exchanging work with our partner school in Ghana. This has been somewhat of a challenge given that we are an SEN school, and most of our learners have limited literacy skills. We have played with ways using photos and short videos to encourage the children to build relationships with each other – but getting permission to use images of many of the children is difficult.
However, Voki offers a rather nifty way of the children communicating with each other. The kids loved making these – and it is a brilliant way of encouraging the children to talk.
